Wreaths Across America is a 501 (c)3 organization dedicated to honoring and remembering our veterans.
Troop 55 will support this effort through the purchase of wreaths that will be placed on tombstones at Arlington National Cemetery. For the sponsorship of $15 each, donors will ensure a wreath will mark the grave of one of our many fallen heroes. In addition to honoring and remembering our veterans, for each wreath sponsored, $5 will go to Troop 55 to defray the cost of outings as well as to support Eagle Project funds.

Cutoff date is 28 November 2016 for online donations.

- Scouts should direct donors to the BSA Troop 55 Wreaths Across America page by having donors copy the link to the BSA Troop 55 donation page:

- Or on the Wreaths Across America page, donors may search for “Donate to a Local Fundraising Group” and enter BSA Troop 55 in the search box. Then select “View” the BSA Troop 55 page.
- Once on the BSA Troop 55 page, individual Scout pages are located in the lower right corner. In order for individual Scouts to receive credit for the donation, donors must use the individual Scout page with the Scout name located in the lower right corner. The donor will then click on the red button titled “Donate” next to the Scout name on the right side of the screen
- Donors will be guided through instructions on how to donate.
For in person donations:
TURN IN FORMS AND CHECKS TO MRS. SYRING NLT 16 NOVEMBER
- Scouts should complete the sales tally sheet which may be found on the Troop 55 webpage or pick one up at the weekly meeting.
- Checks should be made payable to “Wreaths Across America.”
- A script of what to say while collecting and FAQs may be found on the Troop 55 webpage.
