SNACKS FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
You and your friends and family can enjoy delicious snacks AND support Troop 55. Scouts will be selling popcorn to earn funds for our Troop that will help pay for new equipment such as camp stoves, awards and merit badges, maintenance on the the trailer and other Troop activities. It’s a win-win — great snacks for a great cause!
The Fall Popcorn Sale is an officially approved council unit money-earning project that many packs and troops participate in each year. Scouts sold $3.6 million in popcorn last year. Of that amount, over 70% of the sale proceeds stayed local. In fact, 1/3rd of that amount went directly to the units that sold to fund their programs and activities!
How it works
- Fill in your orders on your order sheet
- Collect payment when the customer orders (Check made payable to BSA Troop55 or cash)
- Give your customer a receipt
- Tally up your orders
- Pick your prize
- Make a copy of your order form for yourself
- Hand in your order form and money no later than NOVEMBER 7. Popcorn will be here on December 1st for you to deliver to your customers.

Who can you sell to?
Family, friends, neighbors. Popcorn makes a great holiday gift for teachers, busdrivers, and postal carriers. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS FOLLOW THE RULES OF SAFETY if selling door to door.
Prizes? What prizes?
