Where: Cunningham Falls State Park, 14274 William Houck Dr, Thurmont, MD 21788, hike to Cunningham Falls and Catcotin Mountain Park (Wolf Rock, Chimney Rock )
Campground: Poplar Grove Youth Group Tent Campground, 602 Foxville Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788 (Only 1 hours 30 minutes away from Great Falls, VA)
Arrive at the Great Falls St. Francis Church parking lot at morning 7:30AM on Saturday, May 27.
Return to Great Falls Library by noon on Sunday, May 28th
On the Saturday morning, we will park the cars neat the Cunningham Falls State Park’s lake beach parking area and hike to Cunningham Falls, then scouts will hike to the Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor center and continue to Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock, after that, scouts will return to the Cunningham Falls State Park lake beach and enjoy swimming in the lake for the afternoon.
