Where: Billy Goat Trail – Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath Trail
Time: Arrive at the St. Francis parking lot at 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 12th
return to Great Falls Library by noon on Sunday, November 13th
Troop 55 scouts will enjoy a daypack hike on the Billy Goat Trail scrambling over steep cliffs, climbing on angled rocks and boulders and enjoying beautiful views of the Potomac River. There are various hikes depending on level of expertise for new and seasoned scouts, decided upon ahead of time, or biking on C&O canal towpath. We also conduct “scouting for food” in the Saturday morning.
