In an effort to boost our participation in Friends of Scouting (FoS), families can donate now to FoS when they pay their dues, and the Troop will transfer the funds to FoS. However, to receive the tax deduction for a charitable contribution, you must make the donation directly to Friends of Scouting. Information for donating directly may be found at http://www.ncacbsa.org/support-scouting/friends-of-scouting/.
All families donating to Friends of Scouting will be listed in the Court of Honor programs throughout the year. Funding Friends of Scouting is a necessary component to the success of the National Capital Area Council (NCAC) of BSA, and ultimately your Scout.
