MOM’s Organic Market in Herndon (424 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20171)
iSchool for the Future will be offering a few tables with hands-on science activities outside MOM’s Organic Market in Herndon this upcoming Friday, April 17th, from 11am to 2:30pm. They could use some volunteers to help them set up, take down, and run the activities.
As it’s a day off school in Fairfax, this will be a good opportunity for responsible senior scouts, junior scouts and new scouts to earn up to 4.5 hours of community service. Even if you can’t make it, please share this call for volunteers with others.
Class A or Class B uniform for the volunteer service event. Volunteers are expected to arrive by 10:30am or 12:30 pm, we have two slots options to choose from, you can volunteer for one slot or both slots.
The service hours earned from this vent is qualified for Troop 55 “President’s Volunteer Service Award” program.
Please contact Anu Gupta (agupta [at] ischoolforthefuture [dot] org) if you have any question. Please email your service hour to Mr. Ye(yejeff [at] hotmail [dot] com) after you complete your community service.
