Troop 55 will provide scouts to help with the Sunrise Easter Service at Great Falls National Park (at the visitor center), located at 9200 Old Dominion Dr, McLean, VA 22102. The scouts arrive early (6:00 am) and hand out programs and then take the collection mid-way through the service. At the end, if there is any debris left, scouts patrol the service area and clean up the area.
Attire is Class A + Uniform for scouts since this is a worship service. Please bring a flashlight or a headlight for walking from parking lot to park visitor center since it will be dark before sunrise. Estimated sunrise time is 6:48 am on April 5th, 2015.
The volunteer service hours earned from this vent is qualified for Troop 55 “President’s Volunteer Service Award” program.
