LOCATION: Great Falls Walker Rd (North of Rt 193)
Troop 55 is the Adopt-a-Highway sponsor for the segment of Walker Road between the Village up to Riverbend Gold and Country Club. We commit to picking up trash along this route at least four times a year. The patrols rotate this responsibility and the effort is scheduled and coordinated by the patrol leaders.
This session will be conducted by the Bears and Bucks patrols. Other scouts, parent and friends are welcome to attend. We also need adult assistance with monitoring traffic during this event.
Patrol Leaders typically schedule this event for early Saturday morning (9:30 am to 11:00 am) when traffic is lighter. The service hours earned from this vent is qualified for Troop 55 “President’s Volunteer Service Award” program.
