On Jan. 7th 2014, six boy scouts from Troop 55 were presented with “President’s Volunteer Service Award” for their extraordinary community service during year 2013 and 2014. Two scouts earned Bronze Medals, one scout achieved the Silver Medal, and three scouts were honored with Gold Medals. Each of them also received a personalized award certificate, and a congratulation letter from President Obama.
