Nov 19-20, 2011: Manidokan Bike & Hike:The Dragons had an awesome time on our November outing to the always fun Manidokan Campsite. I did not elect to bike but those who did, especially our younger scouts Daniel and Ethan, said they had a really great time. After the bikers returned many scouts participated in a football game that could only be described as intense. Afterwords all patrols started to cook their meals. The Dragons had some always delicious hamburger helper and a few members decided to eat some delightful toll house cookie dough right out of the tube only after Dr. Hauda assured them that it might be safe. The campfire was fun as usual and actually featured some new impromptu skits. The next morning the troop was able to pack-up quickly and we had a great church service by the water. If you missed the trip this year be sure to come next year as it is too fun and too close to home to miss.
