Troop 55 Uniformed Leadership
The Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) embodies
the scout leadership that plans and executes the Troop 55 program.
Uniformed adult leadership supports and attends every scout activity (e.g.,
meetings, outings), ensures safety for all scouts, and provides advice and
guidance to members of the PLC: the Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior
Patrol Leader, and all Patrol and Assistant Patrol Leaders. Although the
time commitment to serve as a uniformed adult leader is substantial, it is a
very rewarding experience! Please contact the Scoutmaster to join the
adult uniformed leadership team!

Troop 55 Committee Leadership
The Troop Committee has responsibility
for supporting all aspects of Troop 55 operations other than going on outings
(which is optional for Committee members). Some of the major support
functions include finance, transportation, equipment, outing site arrangements
and permits, ongoing community service projects, official troop documentation,
summer camp arrangements, and high-adventure arrangements. Committee
membership is open to parents of all Troop 55 scouts, who are encouraged to join
the team of adults who provide these support functions and enable our scouts to
plan and execute an outstanding program! Contact the Troop Committee Chair
to join the Committee!
