Cheatham Annex & Busch Gardens – June 2015 Outing

Where:   Busch Gardens
Time:   Arrive at the St. Francis parking lot at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 12th
Return to St. Francis mid-afternoon on Sunday, June 14th

Troop 55 will camp out on Friday and Saturday night at the Cheatham Annex near Williamsburg, VA.    On Saturday morning scouts will have a chance to assist each other in advancement activities. Patrol Leaders and youth leaders are urged to attend. After lunch the troop will drive to Bush Gardens in Williamsburg to enjoy the rides and shows and stay until closing. (10PM)

We will bring our trailer with all troop and patrol equipment, and as always, meals are planned and prepared by patrols. Patrols are responsible for planning and preparing breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Scouts should bring a meal for the car on Friday evening and some cash for lunch on the return on Sunday. Scouts must attend the entire weekend to be eligible for the Busch Gardens visit. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

There is a $105 for each scout and parent attending (includes $20 transportation, admission to the park, dinner Saturday at park, & parking fees). THE TRANSPORTATION FEE IS WAIVED FOR BOTH SCOUT AND PARENT IF THE PARENT IS DRIVING.
